Okay, look I get that they’re mentioning Serena in order to set up her arrival in PC, and it’s about time.
In this particular context, shouldn’t Scott have referenced his children who have actually died?? He was trying to explain to Anna his sympathy for Julian when Julian’s son was in fatal danger. Wouldn’t it have made sense for him to bring up Karen, who died in a car crash? Or at least Logan, who was stabbed to death? I think the writers have refrained from fully using Scott’s history to the detriment of his character. He often comes across as unsympathetic, but he has a very painful past the writers have neglected to draw from for some reason. He has had two wives (including Serena’s mom) and two children die. That’s important shit that should be informing his behavior.
Not that that excuses him from being a selfish asshole. But, y’know. Depth. Grey areas. Would be nice.

Lucy! Sorry about the circumstances, but I’m glad Lucy’s back. Plus, the first mention of Serena in ages. The ball is finally rolling on that fucking story!
Carly and Sonny are working together to protect their family. Carly and Sonny. Working together. THEIR FAMILY. Awww.

Okay. Okay okay okay. Guys. GUYS. NINA AND FRANCO. Nina and Franco. Do you know how happy this would make me? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH MORE SENSE THEY WOULD MAKE TOGETHER THAN CARLY/FRANCO?
So much more sense. SO MUCH MORE SENSE. Why didn’t they set this up sooner? This is glorious. Glorious. I am so happy.

I love Maxie. I really really do. With all her virtues and her failings (and she has plenty of both).
But come on, girl. Someone called immigration on Levi. The only people who know about the visa situation are her, Levi, and Nathan (as far as Maxie knows). Clearly Nathan must have done it!
And yet, only Diane, Maxie, Levi, and Nathan knew about Nathan lying to a judge for Maxie and then someone tipped off the judge. Neither Maxie, nor her lawyer, nor the guy who could lose his job for lying would have told the judge. Couldn’t possibly have been Levi!
Maxie, your logic is internally inconsistent! And somehow wrong on both fronts. At least, it is if I’m correct in assuming that Levi called immigration on himself (using his fancy American accent), in order to manipulate Maxie into a green card marriage. Urgh.
Seeing all of Sonny’s boys in scenes together (however annoyingly brief) makes me so happy, but it also makes Kristina’s absence even more jarring. Please bring her* back, like yesterday.
(p.s. *preferably Lexi Ainsworth)
(p.p.s. I love getting to watch GH in real time!)
I love my boys so much (minus Dante) <3 and ugh I miss Kristina too. She was getting to be a little bit too much right before she left, but now I miss her.
Yeah I didn’t really dig the most recent incarnation of Kristina, and the whole reality show story line with Trey wasn’t executed super well, in my opinion. I think it was only done to the point where it was pretty annoying, but if they had pushed further and really explored what the reality show could actually mean for Kristina, her family, & Sonny’s business, and if it had actually continued and even aired, what secrets could have been exposed…it could have been a really useful and interesting story-telling tool. Instead it was just kind of dumb.
Also I never really liked Trey.
